General
To properly top off the Tramontane Series, Lag Guitars have asked Michel Haumont to team up and create a Special Edition electro-acoustic guitar with a slim, parlor body. Haumont - known for his inimitable string-picking - naturally went with an AAA-quality, solid Engelmann spruce top. This type of tonewood offers rich mid-range presence and ample headroom for expressive styles, and comes complemented by a body made of flamed ovangkol. As such, the final product that is the Lag Guitars TS-MH-PE has a casually deluxe look and a warm foundation sound.
The Michel Haumont Parlor Electro: Optimum Playing Comfort
What's also special here is that Haumont has opted for a 46mm nut instead of the usual 43mm. This sets the strings a little further apart from each other, not only making finger-picking styles even more accessible but allowing you to play complex chords more easily without accidentally hitting the wrong string. Finally, to prepare the Michel Haumont Signature for stages and studios, the last brilliant addition is a Fishman Ink preamplifier with built-in EQ and tuner.
